Qualifications:

• NYS K-12 Music Certification Required.
• Strong background in band pedagogy.
• Understanding of woodwind, brass, and percussion techniques to teach to student musicians during small group instructional music lessons throughout the day.
• Conduct a winter and spring concert.

The Commack School District is searching for a music educator who is innovative and passionate about music education and teaching band students. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate with both the administration and colleagues to facilitate current initiatives and bring new initiatives into the building(s).
