The Commack School District seeks qualified applicants for

the probationary position of:

Business Teacher

Commack High School

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate lessons on the foundations of financial literacy to include personal budgeting, smart investment, and help students identify responsible financial literacy decision making
  • Instruct students utilizing Bloomberg Terminals
  • Collaborate with colleagues for classes to promote a deeper understanding of economics
  • Lead and facilitate student learning experiences within advanced coursework, preparing students for the opportunity to sit for Bloomberg certification exams
  • Maintain portal access, terminal accounts, and the day-to-day operations of the finance lab
  • Participate in continued professional development in partnership with Bloomberg
